Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between FCL and LCL?
FCL (Full Container Load) means your cargo occupies an entire container exclusively. LCL (Less than Container Load) means your cargo shares a container with others, making it more cost-effective for smaller shipments.
How do I know which container size I need?
Enter your cargo dimensions in the quote form and we will automatically recommend a 20ft or 40ft container based on volume. Standard 20ft containers hold about 1,170 cubic feet and 40ft containers hold about 2,390 cubic feet.
What is RoRo shipping?
Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) is a method where wheeled cargo such as vehicles, trucks, and machinery are driven directly onto the vessel via a ramp. It is cost-effective for operational vehicles and machinery.
How long does overseas container shipping take?
Transit times vary by route. Trans-Atlantic routes typically take 10β20 days, Trans-Pacific 15β25 days, and routes to Australia/New Zealand 25β35 days. We provide estimated arrival dates with every quote.
Can I ship personal effects or household goods in a container?
Yes. Many customers ship personal effects, household furniture, and vehicles in the same container. Please note customs requirements vary by destination country.
